Character Selection

At the start of a game, choose from a variety of characters from the Mortal Kombat universe. Each character has a unique set of attacks, specials, and abilities that can be used to give you an edge in battle. Select a character carefully, as they can make or break a match!

Game Menu

Battle

Once you have selected your opponent, the battle will begin. The goal of the game is to reduce your opponent’s health to zero and be the last player standing. You must use your character’s moves, specials, and abilities to outwit and defeat your opponent. Be sure to watch your own health, as it is possible to be defeated if you are not careful!

Movement

Movement in the game is simple. Use the left and right arrows to move back and forth. The up arrow is used to jump and the down arrow is used to duck. As you move around the stage, be sure to watch out for obstacles, as they can obstruct your view or provide cover.

Attacking

Attacks are broken up into punches, kicks, and special abilities. Punches and kicks are assigned to the A, S, and D keys; a combination of these can be used to launch more powerful attacks. In addition, each character has a special attack (triggered by pressing the F key) that can be used to decimate an opponent. Be sure to use these strategically, as they can quickly turn the tide of a match!

Block

Blocking is a key defensive maneuver that can help you survive in the game. To block, press the D key. Blocking will reduce the damage taken from attacks, but it will also reduce your mobility. Try to use blocking in conjunction with dodges, rolls, and jumps to outmaneuver your opponent and stay alive!
