Stack Fall is a top-down puzzle game developed by Wild Sheep Studios where the objective is to land the stack of blocks on their corresponding pads at the bottom of the screen. The game features 4 different levels – Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert, each with various shapes and sizes of blocks that the player needs to correctly stack in order to complete the level. The levels increase in difficulty as the player progresses. It is up to the player to stack the blocks correctly in order to complete the level!
Firstly, select the level you wish to play from the four options – Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. In each level, the goal is to stack all of the blocks on their respective pads at the bottom of the screen. The game is played using the up, down, left, right arrow keys and the spacebar on the keyboard. The up arrow key allows the player to toggle between different levels and the down arrow drops the block into play. Once the block is in play, the left and right arrow keys can be used to move the block according to what the level demands and spacebar can be used to rotate it in order to fit the pattern of the level.
The gameplay of Stack Fall involves an ever increasing difficulty as the levels range from Easy to Expert. Initially, players are shown the pattern of the level and must then drag the block above it into the appropriate position, or use the spacebar to rotate and align them to fit. Once all blocks have been correctly stacked on their respective pads, the player knows they have completed the level. A timer is present and counts down from 10 to 0 at the top of the screen and rewards points for a quicker completion time.
Throughout the game, bonus points are also awarded for speed bonus, combos and multiplier bonus which are all based on the time taken to complete the levels. Time bonus awards points for completing levels in a faster time, combo bonus awards points for stacking multiple blocks correctly and multiplier bonus awards points at the end of levels for completing themquickly.
