Starting the game

The game begins with Haley walking through her mother’s beauty salon. Selecting tools and styles

In order to select any tools or styles, players will need to press the spacebar. Once the spacebar is pressed, a selection screen will appear with the hairstyling tools and different styles that are available. To select a style, left click on it. To cancel the selection, right click on it. Every hairstyle will cost coins, and in order to move on to the next style, coins are needed. The coins you earn can be used to unlock new hairstyles and tools.

Styling Hair

The primary objective of the game is to style Haley’s hair without using heat. This is done by using the various styling tools in the salon. Players can choose between a comb, brush, curling wand, curling iron, and more. Every tool has its own set of rules that must be followed in order to style the hair correctly without using heat. Furthermore, tools must be swapped out often in order to prevent a single tool from overworking Haley’s hair.

Accumulating coins and points

Players are able to accumulate coins and points throughout the course of the game. Coins are accumulated by completing different hairstyles, while points are accumulated by fulfilling certain objectives such as completing the game in a certain time or using a certain tool. Coins can be used to unlock new hairstyles and tools in the game, while points can be used to unlock new levels and challenges. As players progress in the game, they will be able to unlock more hairstyles and tools.
