Planet Clicker 2 is a fun, addicting, and refreshingly interactive rogue like RPG web game. The player starts with a select group of aliens, and builds their base with its many amenities, impacting the galaxy around them in both positive and negative ways. For the player, it is up to them to collect enough resources to help their alien race build a better future — or suffer from the consequences of their irresponsible engagement with their environment.
Planet Clicker 2 uses the gamepad, the mouse and the keyboard.
Planet Clicker 2 can be played both on a device (Web, Android, iOS) or the browser. Once you have chosen the type of platform you want to play on and have launched the game, you will be presented with a menu featuring a series of options to customize your experience – such as difficulty level, type of world and number of different aliens.
Once your choices are made and the game has loaded, you will be presented with the Planet Clicker 2 main menu which includes options for new game, continue, view credits, and exit the game.
Once the main menu is loaded up, you will be asked to choose your species and start building your base. There are a total of three available races – the Humans, the Zhandir and the Exolites. Each of this race has its own unique personalities, languages and histories.
Once your race is chosen, you will be taken to the Alien Race screen where you can view the status of your race, buy upgrades, and enlist other players to join your ranks. The Alien Race screen also features a map where you can explore the galaxy and take part in various quests.
Once you have chosen your aliens and explored the Alien Race screen, you will be taken to the Build menu. Here, you can place different buildings such as research labs, energy generators, and defense towers. All of these buildings come with their own set of perks and attribute bonuses. Make sure to build them strategically in order to survive the game.
Apart from buildings, you can also construct walls, bridges, and other structures to guard your base and dominate the environment. As your base expands, you will gain access to new areas and items such as tech, weapons and other resources.
When you are done with building your base, you are ready to start exploring the galaxy and facing off against other races. You can either choose to remain in the safety of your own base or join with your team and brave battles against other aliens.
Planetary exploration in Planet Clicker 2 consists of various tasks such as gathering resources, freeing prisoners, fighting off enemy aliens, and, most importantly, exploring unknown planets. You can find all sorts of resources such as rare minerals, energy sources, and new alien species.
The combat system in Planet Clicker 2 is based on the classic RPG turn-based system. You can equip your soldiers with various weapons and armor to make them stronger. As you progress, you will gain access to more powerful weapons and items.
During battle, you will have the choice to use a variety of tactics such as ambush, retreat, and sneak attack. It is important to utilize your strategy and tactics in order to win the battle. Choose your operations wisely and make sure to protect your base at all times.
