Objective

The objective of Yet Another Merge Game is to match three or more similar blocks of the same color or type on the grid. Matching blocks will eliminate them from play and award the player with points or other bonuses.

Gameplay

Players begin the game by selecting a starting challenge. This can be to match a certain ratio of blocks, or to eliminate certain amount of blocks within a certain amount of moves. After selecting their challenge, players will be met with a grid of randomly generated blocks. By clicking and dragging their mouse or finger across similar blocks they are able to merge them. Alternatively, they can use their keyboard to navigate the board. Each cleared block from the board will award players with a score, with bonuses for chaining multiple blocks together in one move as well as for selecting more than 3 blocks.

Power-Ups

The game offers an extensive list of power-ups and perks to further increase the difficulty and level of challenge. Power-ups can range from a single click bomb, which can clear a row or a column of blocks, to level-ups that can increase the grid size, and nearly anything in between. All of these power-ups can be unlocked using the scores earned from successfully completing levels.
