3D Chess

3D Chess is an exciting web game developed to provide players with an exciting and fast-paced experience. The game is based on the classic two-player game of chess, however this version is presented in 3D simulation. In this game players can take on the role of either white or black and move pieces to win the game. The graphics are bright and vibrant, with pieces and boards rendered in 3D.

Setting up the Board

Setting up the board is the first step needed to play 3D Chess. Players can choose to use either the 3D Chess board or a 2D Flat version. Once the board is chosen, the pieces need to be placed in the right positions. The pieces are placed in the center of the board and can be arranged in any configuration the players would like.

Moving Pieces

Players can move pieces around the board by using either the mouse, the keyboard, or a joystick. The rules of this game are similar to the classic rules of chess and the objective is to win by either capturing the king of the other player or by forcing the king of the other player into a situation where it cannot move. Players can move the pieces around the board in any direction except for when a Rook is used which can only move in horizontal or vertical lines.

Game Options

Before a game can begin players need to choose the game type they would like to play. Players can choose from either Classic 3D Chess, Blind Chess, or Online Chess. Each of these game type options have their own rules and objectives making them suitable for different types of players. Classic 3D Chess is the most well-known and widespread type of game so it is a great option for both novice and advanced players.

Computer Opponents

Players can choose to play against either another online player or a computer. When playing against a computer opponent, the difficulty can be adjusted from easy to expert. Players can have access to a wide range of computer opponents and can also save the game with certain computer opponents to come back to at a later date. This feature is especially useful for players who like to practice their strategies.
