Objective

The objective in Classic Mahjong Solitaire is to match two tiles with the same pattern and remove them from the game board. When all the tiles are matched and removed the game is completed.

Setup

All the tiles will be randomly placed and organized into a domino-like structure - with tiles next to each other being similar. The player must then begin to match and remove them to clear the board and win the game.

Gameplay

The player moves the tiles around in a sliding motion, using the mouse or the arrow keys to select and move them. When the desired tile is at the center of the game board, it can be selected with a left-click or the space key. If the player selects a tile that cannot be matched and removed, it will be detached and the player can put it back in a different spot. The tiles must also be facing up in order to be matched.

Points and Scoring

Players are rewarded points every time a tile match is made and removed from the board, and more points will be granted for a longer chain of matches. The faster the player completes the match, more points are awarded and the game is completed.
