Basics

Gummy Blocks is a game where the player matches three or more of the same type of gummy pieces together. This is achieved by rotating and positioning the pieces on the game board. Each match will help the player build up points, and the goal is to earn as many points as possible by consistently creating matches. There are a few pieces that the player needs to be aware of; the skull and skull and crossbones, the regular gummy pieces, and the multi-colored gummy pieces.

Types of Pieces

The most basic of the pieces are the regular gummy pieces. Players will find these pieces scattered randomly on the game board. By matching three of the same color, the pieces are removed and points are added to the player's score. Additionally, players can create power-ups from these pieces by matching four or five pieces in a row.

The second type of piece is the skull and crossbones. This piece cannot be rotated and will instantly remove whichever pieces are on it’s square. It is most useful when grouped with other pieces as it can help clear out large areas.

The last type of piece is the multi-colored piece. This piece can match any color and can be used to create multi-colored power-ups when grouped with regular pieces.

Puzzle Mode

Puzzle Mode presents players with a series of pre-set game boards, which must be solved by clearing all the pieces. Each puzzle has a unique solution and over time, players will develop strategies to help them solve the puzzles more quickly. Sometimes more than one puzzle can be solved in a single move.

Timed Mode

Timed Mode presents players with unlimited game boards that must be solved as quickly as possible. The faster the player solves each board, the higher the score that can be achieved. It also features power-ups that can drastically reduce the time limit of a given board.

Endless Mode

In Endless Mode, players must create as many matches as possible within the given time limit. The board never clears, so the challenge is to keep up with the flow of pieces coming in. The games features power-ups that can help clear large portions of the board.
