Stellar Shooters takes place in a galactic setting where you will be tasked with shooting down an array of strange and interesting enemies while navigating a map full of traps and obstacles.

Selecting a character

At the beginning of the game, you will get to select your character. You have the option to choose between a human, robotic, or alien character. Depending on which character you select, you will have access to different powers and abilities. However, all characters come with the basic set of controls.

The Map

You will see a map in the game which you can use to navigate your way through the levels. The map is comprised of different platforms and obstacles that you will have to navigate around or over to make your way towards the enemies. As you progress through the game, the levels will become increasingly more difficult and you will need to strategize how you move around the map.

Enemies

The main objective of the game is to shoot down the enemies which will appear randomly around the map. The enemies come in all different shapes and sizes and can shoot bullets of their own as well. You must use your quick reflexes and technique to shoot the enemies down before they are able to shoot you. There are also many special power-ups and bonuses scattered around the level that can help you in your mission.

Shooting and Navigation

As you play the game, you must make use of the controls to move your character around the map and shoot the enemies. You will be using the arrow keys to move left, right, up and down and the spacebar to shoot bullets at the enemies. You can also use the X and C keys to activate the thrust pack and the shield respectively. The thrust pack gives you a temporary speed boost, while the shield will protect you from any bullets that come your way.

Power-ups and Bonuses

Throughout the game, you will encounter various power-ups and bonuses that will help you in your mission. These can be found lurking around the level and can be picked up by simply touching them. The power-ups can grant you extra shield, improved shooting range, and much more. Bonuses will give you extra points that can be used to upgrade your character’s abilities.

Levels and Difficulty

The game consists of numerous levels that you must complete before advancing to the next one. As you progress, the levels will become more difficult, meaning you will have to use your navigational and shooting skills even more in order to make your way through. You must be careful though, as your character has limited health and a single hit will take away points from your overall score.
