Penalty Challenge

Penalty Challenge is a football-themed, fast-paced reflex game. The player takes control of a goalkeeper, and is charged with the task of stopping as many penalties as possible. The aim of the game is to demonstrate fast reactions, keeping focus, and strategic anticipation to save as many of the 5 rounds of five incoming penalties as you can.

• Movement - Use the arrow keys or the swipe of your mouse or finger to move the goalkeeper in any direction.
• Jump - Tap the space bar, or click the mouse or touch the screen to make the goalkeeper jump in order to reach the ball.

Take Control of the Goalkeeper

As the goalkeeper, you have the responsibility to save each penalty shot. Keep an eye out on the direction of the ball, anticipate its trajectory and make your way to the right spot. Quick drags and precise tapping are the keys to success here.

Save the Shots

The only way to stop the penalty shot from finding the back of the net is to get yourself in the way. Stay focused and utilize the goaltenders natural agility and responding speed to catch or deflect the ball away from the goal. Depending on the size of the goal and the speed of the approaching shot, you will have to jump, slide, or block the ball.

Put the Obstacles to Good Use

There will be varied obstacles that get in the way of your performance, including column beams and jungle sounds that shake the goal post as you are about to jump. Handle these obstacles by yourself in a composed manner, and rely on your judgment and strategy.

Levels of Difficulty

Penalty Challenge offers 3 levels of difficulty to the player. The lower the level of difficulty, the slower the approaching speed of each penalty shot. Choose your desired difficulty level, and take the challenge.

Progression and Score Points

The progression system is based on the number of saved shots. As you complete a set of shots, the difficulty of the gameplay increases as well. Manage to save more shots to get more points. Once the game ends, your total points will be tallied and you can compare your score with that of other players.
