Penalty Shooters is an exciting free-to-play football game on web, Android and iOS. The objective of the game is to go through four rounds of penalty shootout to become the ultimate penalty master. The game is suitable for all ages, particularly children, thanks to its easy controls and simple battle system.
The game is divided into four rounds. In each round, the user and the CPU must attempt to pass 3 penalty kicks with three opportunities. To score, the user has the ability to move the goalkeeper to the left or the right and press the space bar to shoot or block the penalty kick. The opponent also has the same control to shoot and block.
There are two main game modes – the Championship and the Duel mode. Championship mode allows the user to compete against computer-generated opponents in varying levels of difficulty. If the user defeats all the opponents in Championship mode, they win the championship and become the ultimate penalty master. The Duel mode is a head-to-head match where the user competes against a human player. Two players will take turns shooting and blocking penalty kicks.
Players must press the space bar at the correct time to shoot or block penalty kicks. If the timing is too slow or too early, the penalty kick won’t be successful. Also, the goalkeeper's reaction and the timing of the penalty kick will affect the direction of the penalty kick. For example, if the goalkeeper blocks and diverts the penalty kick, the penalty kick may move in a different direction that the player did not expect.
Each successful penalty kick will add 1 point in the score system. If one of the players reaches 7 points, the game will end. The player with the highest score will be the winner. In the case of a tie, both players will have 3 additional attempts to win the game.
