Playing Paper Minecraft is easy, it follows the classic controls of old-school adventure games. Your character is controlled by the arrow keys and you can run, jump and attack with the A, Shift and Space keys respectively.

The combat system in the game is a mix of melee and projectile attacks used in combination with tacticial use of items. Such as landmine attacks, long-range weapons or sword and shield combos.

Exploration

The game contains many different environments and levels which the player can explore. As you go through the levels you come across objects, items and bosses that can impact the outcome of a mission. Some of the items can be used as part of a puzzle to be solved or give the character special abilities. You can also interact with NPCs that can help or hinder your progress in the game.
