Set-up

Goose Game is a strategy game that requires players to move their pawns around the map in order to win. To start up, each player will begin with three pawns and race each other to the end square. All pawns must make it to the finish before any can cross the goal line.

Actions

Each player controls their own team of pawns and can move them on the map by selecting individual pieces and selecting the desired square for them to go. The player can also use abilities, such as making their pawn move faster, or add obstacles to the pathway of the other players. Bonus squares are also scattered around the board and allow player to receive extra points and make double jump movements.

The Board

The board consists of a 4x4 square grid, with random obstacles and bonus squares arranged along it. The goal is for each player to move their pawns to the finish line in the middle of the board. All players race each other, and the first one to make it to the finish line wins.

Movement

Each player can move their pawns one square at a time, and there are no limits to the amount of movements they may make. Some squares are marked with stars and those will allow the pawns to move two squares in a single turn. Additionally, there are also obstacles that can block the pawns' path, but they can be removed if a player lands on one of those squares.

Scoring

At the end of each round, the players will get points based on the position of their pawns. The goal is to get as many points as possible in order to win the game. The more pawns cross the finish line, the more points a player will get. Additionally, players can get bonus points from bonus squares, which can be helpful in becoming the winner.
