Pokemon Mega is an exciting, fast-paced web game that allows players to capture and battle with some of their favorite characters from the Pokemon franchise. In the game, players take on the role of a Trainer and travel around their world, navigating obstacle-filled environments and fighting other Trainers to become the top Trainer.
When first starting out, players must create their Trainer by selecting a gender and customizing the look. After customizing their Trainer, players can then start exploring their world, which is composed of several regions, each with unique landscapes and a host of characters. In the game, players can catch and battle with Pokemon by collecting coins, items, and battle points.
When players enter each region, they must find wild Pokemon to capture and add to their team. The game's map will show Trainers the location of each wild Pokemon, and they can use items to ease the process of catching them. Once a Pokemon is captured, it will be added to the Trainer's roster and can be summoned at any time during the game.
Pokemon Mega uses a turn-based combat system similar to that found in the original Pokemon games. As the Trainer moves through their world, they will encounter wild Pokemon and other Trainers looking for fights. When engaging in battle, the two contenders take turns and use attacks and strategies to reduce the opposing Trainer's health limit and emerge as the winner. During a battle, players can train and level-up their Pokemon, giving them higher fighting stats and access to new attacks and strategies.
Pokemon Mega is developed by Pixel Snack, a small indie game studio based in Japan.
